Our brand was founded by Australian cosmetic dentist Dr Nerma, using the emerging dental tech she relies on and recommends. With more than ten years of clinical experience, she built Beam Theory and developed oral care products to share her specialised expertise with the world.

Dentistry is evolving, and Beam Theory keeps up with the science. Depending on the product, we’ve used little to no fluoride. While fluoride is an efficacious ingredient in oral care, we’ve also brought in emerging dental technology that offers scientifically backed ways to whiten and strengthen your smile. Our daily toothpaste, Beam Balance, consists of a small amount of fluoride and relies primarily on biomimetic science. For a completely fluoride-free option, try our Beam Serum, which uses cocoa extract theobromine to help support enamel strength, or Beam Reset which uses fruit derived enzymes to lift away stains.

Prebiotics and postbiotics are relatively new in dental care. These innovative ingredients support a healthy microbiome and balance your pH levels, which refers to how acidic the oral environment is. Yes. The theobromine found in our Beam Serum tastes like an after-dinner choc mint treat. Theobromine is naturally extracted from cocoa, and has gained popularity in the dental world with its growing clinical support to support enamel micro-hardness and strength. While it is genuinely delicious, it is also considered a more natural fluoride alternative. There is lots to love about theobromine — try it in our enamel care serum.
